What you will do:



  • Be a trusted member of the engagement team and responsible for:


    • Comply with position's professional standards


    • Coordinate various phases of an engagement; planning, scheduling, work assignments to staff


    • Support the training of staff


    • Strive to meet productivity goals


    • Prioritize multiple engagements at one time


    • Medical Record Review to validate and ensure proper coding of the MDS to manage and/or improve Medicare or Medicaid reimbursement, Quality Measures, and compliance.


    • Provide education to staff on the RAI, skilled documentation, Medicare and Medicaid regulations and reimbursement systems and 5 Star Quality Measures.


    • Assess clinical operations in the MDS department and interdisciplinary team to help clients streamline processes for efficiency.




  • Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients

Successful candidates will have:



  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse of Licensed Practical Nurse


  • Excellent working knowledge of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) Process


  • 5+ years of Skilled Nursing Facility experience


  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement systems and regulations


  • Working knowledge of Managed Care Organization reimbursement


  • Working knowledge of quality measures as they relate to nursing facilities
