This tradesman must have developed advanced knowledge of materials, tools and maintenance shop practices and procedures of Mission Bell Winery.
Must be capable of planning and carrying out in a proper sequence the dismantling, installation, repair, overhaul, and preventive maintenance / lubrication of a wide variety of complex electro-mechanical equipment, controls, and instruments and an excellent degree of knowledge and some experience with Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers, high and low voltage (AC and DC) power transmission equipment.
Must be capable of troubleshooting, diagnosis and the repair electrical / mechanical equipment malfunctions and expedite the repair process.
Should be able to learn quickly and provide on-the-job training for other employees including maintenance apprentices and bottling machine operators.
Must have the capability of independently investigating and analyzing causes of equipment failure and malfunction and take the necessary corrective action.
Must be able to plan, layout, erect and assemble equipment and sub-assemblies in accordance with drawings, manufacturer's specifications, and blueprints as well as verbal or written instructions with minimum supervision.
Must have at least 3 years’ experience in packaging maintenance or bottling line automation concepts.
Must possess outstanding communications skills, and be capable of interfacing well with all production, quality control, and warehouse personnel.
Must be capable of working assigned shifts and overtime and show capability of team leading and assigning work orders as required.
Good Safety and attendance records.
Must be able to work in high or confining places and should be able to lift and move heavy objects.
Must know and understand Computer Concepts and Microsoft Windows NT Platforms.
Actively support departmental goals.
Must be able to lift items up to 50lbs. and push items over 100lbs.
Must be able to work 7 days per week, overtime, and 12 hours per day as needed.
