The Role


Lithko Contracting is seeking an Estimator to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Estimator will support the Estimating staff and Pre-Construction Lead in all aspects of estimating, including quantity take-offs, pricing, and bidding for commercial and industrial construction projects.


Key Responsibilities:

• Set up estimates, including correct alternates, general conditions, and accurate vendor and subcontractor pricing, labor production, and wage rates in alignment with bid strategy.
• Conduct take-offs, identifying and quantifying all necessary concrete scope items using take-off software.
• Provide correct project information to appropriate parties during the turnover and planning phases.
• Validate that detailed and accurate information is delivered to the operations team to support project execution.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience with structural concrete estimating is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in estimating for a Self-Perform General Contractor or Concrete Contractor is a plus.
• Familiarity with a variety of project types, with an emphasis on Commercial/Industrial construction.
• General knowledge of construction principles and practices, with experience on projects over $1 million.
• Knowledge of negotiated bids and hard bids.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is required.
