Overview

We currently have an opening for a Plant Manager to support our Mona, Utah Aggregate Plant. This position will be responsible for providing the necessary leadership to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and oversee the mining and production of raw materials through the Plant in a safe and efficient manner.

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Participate in Company safety inspections as well as MSHA inspections
  • Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.
  • Manage necessary safety documentation.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory levels at the site to ensure an uninterrupted source of material for the company
  • Reviews personnel performance for quality and quantity according to established performance guidelines
  • Develop teamwork among all operational departments while upholding Company guidelines, policies and procedures, and maintaining morale across all department levels.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of production experience in Aggregates.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations and possess a strong personal commitment to safety
  • Solid understanding of aggregate processing and equipment
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and capable of developing and maintaining good relationships with company and regulatory agency personnel
  • Strong leadership skills; possess the ability to lead, manage and motivate; have a proven track record for creating employee ownership of safety, production and quality
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; strong planning skills
