Location: This position is located in White Plains, New York as a Hybrid role. 3 days in office and 2 remote.
What's the role?
The Training Manager for the SAP S/4HANA Implementation Hub at Carl Zeiss Inc. will oversee the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training programs related to the implementation of SAP S/4HANA across the organization. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are effectively trained on new processes and systems, facilitating a smooth transition, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Here's what you'll do:
• Training Strategy Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with the overall objectives of the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultation with managers, ensuring all departmental and organizational training requirements are considered.
• Program Design and Delivery:
Design training programs that encompass a variety of teaching techniques including on-the-job coaching, mentorship, and e-learning.
Customize training programs to address the specific needs of different departments and workstreams within the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with project managers and department heads to ensure training objectives are aligned with business goals.
Facilitate sessions with senior management to obtain sponsorship and gain insights that drive the effectiveness of training programs.
• Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of mostly external training specialists and coordinators.
Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional development.
• Evaluation and Improvement:
Evaluate training effectiveness to ensure that it meets learning outcomes and business objectives.
Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and changing project requirements.
• Resource Management:
Manage the training budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Select and manage external training vendors and consultants as needed to deliver specialized training.
• Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with all internal policies and industry regulations related to training and development.
Develop and manage documentation processes to support training activities.
Do you qualify?
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in training and development management, ideally with a focus on ERP systems or large-scale technology implementations.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP platforms and their impact on business processes.
Nice to Haves:
• Master's degree or professional certification in Training and Development, such as CPTM (Certified Professional in Training Management).
• Experience in a leadership role within a technology-driven business environment.
The annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
