Work Location: Hybrid in NYC, Malvern or West Reading, PA., coming into the office at least 3-days per week with Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday being the set in-office days. Possibility for remote work if within a 50-mile radius of a Customers Bank location, the expectation is to be hybrid. All subject to change.

Salary range: An annual salary range of $125,000 to $150,000 is what we expect to pay for this position, based on overall skills and experience.

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a dynamic Training and Development Specialist to design, develop, and administer ongoing training programs for the Bank. This role will focus on creating specialized training for targeted groups and leveraging both internal and external resources to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing training programs and working with subject matter experts to deliver effective learning solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of the Bank and specific groups, in alignment with the Written Agreement.
  • Administer ongoing training to all Bank employees, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Identify and create targeted training opportunities for specialized groups within the Bank.
  • Leverage external training resources from industry organizations and integrate them into the Bank’s training programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including compliance and risk teams, to ensure training content aligns with operational and regulatory needs.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training delivery, especially in areas relevant to financial services.
  • Ensure all training is documented and recorded for audit and regulatory purposes.

What Do You Need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in training development and delivery, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to banking and financial services.
  • Experience in working with external training vendors and integrating third-party training resources.
  • Excellent communication and instructional design skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organizational goals.

Technology Skills:

  • Ability to work with the Microsoft Suite and learn/work with other Customers Bank’s applications.
