St. Louis based organization is seeking a Paralegal to join their growing team. This Paralegal would report to the General Counsel as well as the Director of Operations, and be tasked with both compliance/transactional and litigation-based tasks. Specific Paralegal duties will include:
Assisting attorneys with the tax appeal process for commercial properties
Organizing and tracking internal documents, including tax appeals
Coordinating and tracking responses to discovery requests and other court deadlines
Managing FOIA requests and responses
Serving as a liaison between internal departments and external organizations
Updating a proprietary database
Conducting legal research and tracking updates to various regulations
Previous experience working as a Paralegal is strongly preferred. Must have good technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
