We are searching for a CNC Programmer for our client in Santa Ana, CA. The role will be Direct Hire! 1st Shift (5am-1:30pm) Up to $26/hr.
Summary
Plans and performs a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical control machining centers to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces to specifications by performing the following duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Interpret complicated drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done.
Perform diversified operations on numerical control machining centers.
Performs a variety of milling, drilling, boring, or related operations to close and interrelated tolerances.
Review setup sheet and specifications to determine machining sequence and dimensions of finished workpiece.
Machines materials other than metal, such as composites, plastic, and rubber.
Cleans machine, tooling, and parts.
Perform machine maintenance.
Education and/or Experience
Pays attention to detail, thoroughness, functional skills, and verbal communication.
Other experiences in sheet metal fabrication a plus.
High School Education
Language Skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common instructions.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Mathematical Skills
Basic math
Ability to read blueprints; ability to use calipers and/or other measuring tools.
