The Industrial Engineer will play a pivotal role in applying industrial engineering principles to support continuous improvement processes within our heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
How You Will Help:
Conduct Comprehensive process analysis to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for manufacturing improvement.
Develop and implement innovative solutions to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Utilize Lean Six Sigma Methodologies to drive process optimization.
Analyze production layouts, equipment utilization, and material flow to optimize production efficiency.
Conduct time studies to ensure the site is at maximum work process efficiency.
Collaborate with other plant leaders to ensure that you're supporting plant capacity for production.
Apply Industrial Engineering principles and techniques to identify constraints to continuously improve manufacturing processes and reduce labor costs.
Assist in preparing engineering projects.
Work with other teams to design and optimize production layouts to enhance efficiency. As well as developing work scopes for the installation of new equipment.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and operational methods.
What You Will Have:
5+ years relevant experience in manufacturing, production, or heavy industrial environments
Knowledge of lean processes/efficiencies (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 5s)
Experience conducting time studies
The ability to understand internal process lead times
Ability to work well under pressure
Experience with working in a team environment
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
