Our client is seeking a contract-to-hire Receptionist to join their team in Rockville, MD!
About the job:
Answer incoming phone calls and operate the telephone console to screen and route calls to the appropriate individual or department.
Greet visitors professionally and warmly, announcing them to the relevant personnel.
Maintain a visitor log, issue visitor badges, and track the return of badges.
Ensure the reception area remains professional and tidy, discouraging gatherings in that space.
Manage periods of high call volume effectively.
About you:
2+ years of reception experience preferred.
High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
Excellent listening skills with effective written and verbal communication abilities
About the position
Temporary-to-hire
$20/hour during contract period, $29/hour once permanent
Onsite in Rockville, MD
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional mandatory overtime starting at 7:30 AM
