Starting pay is $34.99/hour (plus .55 cent shift differential for 2nd shift)

Essential Job Functions:
Rebuilding and maintaining precision spindles, dies and other assemblies.
Overhauling major equipment and components.
Operating in-plant mobile equipment, including lift trucks, booms, man lifts, etc.
Conducting quality checks on incoming tooling and reacts appropriately to the results.
Air Compressor maintenance.
Use technical information from equipment manuals, prints, specifications, and training manuals whenever planning or implementing system repairs, and as a training aid, when providing system instruction to fellow team members
Care for and operate both hand and power tools (including drills, stud guns, rail benders, alignment tools, sanders, grinders, band saws, torque wrenches, nail guns, etc.) and accurately employ measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators when setting up equipment to meet close tolerances.
Follow all safety rules, hazardous waste handling requirements, housekeeping needs, the plant Code of Conduct and practice good manufacturing habits as listed in the GMP handbook.
Perform all other duties as directed by plant supervision.
Job Requirements:
Proficient in operating all machine shop equipment, including working knowledge of CNC grinding, lathes, mills, welding equipment, plasma cutters, etc.
Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
The ability to follow workplace safety requirements.
Experience/Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, trade school or apprentice program completion desired.
2+ years of comparable experience in a manufacturing environment desired.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Ability to occasionally work in confined spaces.
Able to pass physical examination.
