Location: Arlington, Virginia
Strategic Analysis is seeking a versatile, skilled Data Specialist to support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). It is of paramount importance to exceed our client expectations with high integrity and focused attention to program deliverables. This support includes the following tasks:
Responsibilities:
• Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.
• Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through analysis of large data sets.
• Apply consulting skills and data analytics experience by simplifying technical requirements and trends, based on audience.
• Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
• Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides.
Qualification Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience with data analysis
• Knowledge of HRIS systems to manage tools for process automation and data-driven decision-making
• Ability to analyze HR data, track metrics, and prepare reports for senior leadership
• Ability to partner to with leadership to prepare and present HR reports, dashboards, and insight to support continuous improvement
• Ability to manage multiple project in a fast paced environment
• Ability to commute to Arlington, VA a minimum of 3 days per week
Education:
• Bachelor's degree
Clearance:
• Active or Eligible for Active DoD Secret Clearance
Experience:
• 2+ year relevant experience
• Experience working in human resources department (preferred)
• Experience developing dashboards for senior leadership
Desired skills:
• Knowledge of Federal government hiring practices (preferred)
• Additional education or relevant professional certifications highly desirable.
• Possession of excellent communication and leadership skills
