The Facilities Technician - Electrical will maintain manufacturing operations at the Medtronic North Haven Campus. They will be responsible for emergency repairs of the facilities electrical infrastructure and requires a licensed CT - E-2 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical infrastructure in facilities.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair facilities electrical equipment and systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies.

  • Develop, maintain and secure a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools.

  • Recommend purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required to streamline processes and increase efficiency.

  • Assist engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facilities processes.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.

Nice to Have:

• Requires: CT - E-1 Unlimited Electrical Contractor or licensed CT - E-2 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson
• Knowledge of commercial and/or industrial , electrical systems
• Limited experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Limited experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Limited experience with Fire/Life Safety Systems

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$68,800.00 - $103,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
