All of this is to ensure consumers always get a great tasting/performing product for their families. Responsibilities:
Setup, run, rotate positions, teardown, and inspection of equipment in your area including hot water washes all by following proper safety lock out tag out procedures.
Operate inspection equipment including Dumpers, X-Rays, and the production line.
Take ownership for daily accurate SAP documentation of products/supplies (including scanning, counting to verify materials, and document quantities).
Complete production documentation paperwork accurately.
Able to support the proper cleaning of plastic combos through combo wash.
Able to effectively do Fat Analysis offline.
Able to effectively manage meat inventory (i.e. meat age).
Must be able to manage the quality of materials used (i.e. spice sifting, rejecting bad materials, etc.).
Safely and efficiently use grinder equipment.
Support Meat Inspection process as needed such as receive in materials, ensure material quality, transfer raw meat into combos, and/or place materials in racks.
Coordinate flow of inbound/outbound products and materials via phone, radio, email, and face to face interactions at the shipping/receiving doors.
Ready and prepare outbound shipment including load outbound trailers per specifications.
Plan and execute the daily work required to supply Meat Inspection and Formulation teams with materials and ingredients needed (dry and liquid ingredients, cardboard, labels, etc.).
Operate reefers and maintain proper trailer temps.
Stage meat per blends needed for formulation in cooler.
Communicate between Scheduler, Production Coordinators, Team Leaders, and Production Reports as needed.
Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Skills and Competencies:
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Strong math background is required.
Complete production documentation paperwork accurately.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
Must be able to set up all grinders independently after proper training.
Must be able to identify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and maintain all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Must be able to work with chemicals and operate the combo washer on a rotating basis.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be able to push/pull containers filled with product/spice/liquids.
Must be willing to learn basic computer skills such as (Word, Excel, etc.).
Must have a very keen eye for visual inspection purposes.
Having the ability to perform an accurate daily inventory on rework.
Ability to learn and accurately perform all the SAP transactions associated with position.
Willing to work in cold conditions.
Must be able to obtain forklift license and keep safe driving record.
Willingness to work extended hours including weekends.
