Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Enterprise Talent Development is responsible for implementing the global strategy, development and delivery of enterprise-level learning and development programs. This role oversees University of Constellation Brands (UCB), Global Skills-Strategy & Assessments, and strategic talent development programs and initiatives. This role will create a comprehensive talent development implementation plan that is (1) aligned to business needs, (2) develops talent within the organization, and (3) provides opportunity for every employee to grow a career worth reaching for. This role requires collaboration with key stakeholders to identify training needs, develop learning solutions, and ensure the effective delivery of training across the enterprise. You will act as a consultant to business units, advising on best practices for talent development and support development-related needs in talent management, talent partners, change management, D&I, culture and onboarding initiatives.

Responsibilities

University of Constellation Brands Strategy & Talent Development Operations:



  • Oversee the University of Constellation Brands, ensuring it aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and supports the development of a highly skilled workforce.




  • Develop and implement a strategic expansion plan for the Corporate University, design a marketing campaign to scale presence of UCB, and Integrate UCB into the business, aligning offerings to development needs as well as business objectives.




  • Partner with senior leadership, HRBPs, and CoE’s to identify enterprise learning opportunities and skills required across the organization.




  • Partner with the Director of Talent Enablement and Operational Capability to integrate business-specific learning assets into the University portfolio and enhance user experience and accessibility to content.




  • Oversee the global learning catalog and content portfolio vendors, ensuring it meets the various upskilling needs across the organization and is integrated in the Workday LMS.




  • Manage the Corporate University’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maximizing impact and collaborate with external training providers and partners to deliver specialized training programs as needed.




  • Manage internal/external instructional designers, trainers, and support staff, providing direction on key priorities and managing resources strategically.




  • Enhance and streamline talent development processes and programs to maximize their effectiveness and efficiency which includes evaluating current initiatives, identifying areas for improvement, and automating/systemizing process flows. 




  • Oversee the Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational technologies and develop a strategy to increase engagement with the systems, employee learning utilization, assessment of learning outcomes, and integration with other tools/systems.




  • Ensure all educational and training assets programs comply with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.



Global Skills-Strategy & Talent Assessments:



  • Lead execution of skills-based methodology and framework to systematically assess and catalog proficiency levels for roles across the organization on a global scale (includes identifying key competencies, setting clear evaluation criteria, and implementing a structured process to ensure consistent and accurate inventory of skills, enabling the organization to better align talent with strategic objectives).




  • Partner with the HR Partners, Organizational Design team and Workday HCM leads to ensure skills projects are aligned to methodology and strategic priorities.




  • Design a comprehensive global career framework that strategically enhances career development opportunities for employees, positioning CBI talent to effectively contribute to and achieve our STZ2030 goals.




  • Oversee development of Career Mapping playbook to partner cross-functionally with leaders, SMEs, HR partners, and CoEs to develop job-specific career pathways, establish progression criteria, and provide targeted development programs that align with career pathways.




  • Drive execution of global talent assessment strategy for the use of assessments, tools and other enablers that support or enhance learning objectives (ex: DDI, DiSC, IDPs, KornFerry, 360 Surveys, etc.)



Enterprise-level Learning Programs & Initiatives:



  • Overseeing the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of yearly enterprise talent development programs and initiatives.




  • Partner closely with department heads, HR partners, and senior leaders to identify enterprise-focused training needs and programs that develop the most critical organizational capabilities at the individual, team, leader and company level.




  • Develop and implement a strategic enterprise talent development plan that aligns with the organization’s goals and promotes a culture of continuous learning.




  • Oversee execution of mentoring programs tailored to various employee groups (i.e., new hires, emerging leaders, high-potential employees, and underrepresented groups).




  • Assess organizational training needs through assessments, surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers, aligning these needs with overall business strategies.




  • Partner with the Employee Experience team to design enterprise learning experiences for new hires and employees who are transitioning through their career within the organization.




  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support any TA related trainings that are needed to effectively educate candidates/hiring managers and support of onboarding new employees.




  • Partner with the Talent Management team to support in the creation of training materials and tools that support talent processes globally.




  • Partner with DEI team to support design and development of DEI training offerings for various priorities aligned to the global DEI strategic goals.




  • Partner with our legal and compliance teams to support the design, development, and deployment of compliance trainings across the organization.




  • Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs and their impact on employee performance and business outcomes and make changes as needed.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or a related field.




  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PMP, SPHR) is preferred.




  • 10+ years of experience in learning and development with a track record in developing and delivering instructor-led and online training.




  • 5+ years of experience managing talent development teams, vendors, and other resources within a global organization.




  • Strong global mindset with the ability to design solutions that are scalable and adaptable across various markets/regions and considers the diverse cultural, economic, and regulatory landscapes that influence the organization.




  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.




  • Advanced knowledge of innovative training techniques, instructional design, curriculum development, facilitation and adult learning principles.




  • Strong proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms (5+ years of Workday LMS experience required).




  • Advanced knowledge of psychometrics, assessment methodologies, coaching and talent management principles (certifications in assessment tools preferred).




  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, interpersonal, influencing and active listening skills.




  • Ability to identify and define learning and development gaps, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and update program content accordingly.




  • Advanced Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and/or project within a changing environment by using various tools and systems.




  • Business and financial acumen and understanding of the impact of training on overall performance and employee retention.




  • Ability to work autonomously within teams and as an internal/external consultant.

The salary range for this role is:


$95,500.00 - $201,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
