Volt is immediately hiring a Contracts Specialist in Wilmington, MA.
As Contracts Specialist you will:
Influences successful business outcomes to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income and free cash flow for new and continuing programs. Provides business, contractual and risk mitigation strategy guidance. Analyzes new laws, regulations and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives. Protects the interest of the company by understanding and interpreting contractual terms and conditions. Utilizes working knowledge of regulations including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS) and other agency regulations. Analyzes significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures. Manages the contractual review of solicitations, proposal development, contract change control process and overall contract administration. Establishes and maintains primary contractual interface with the customer. Maximizes cash through innovative contract formation and negotiation to achieve business objectives.

This is a 12 MonthFull-time Contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Clearance Required: TS/SCI (Poly- Preferred)
Required Hard Skills
Strong vocabulary and Contracts knowledge
Technical change management is helpful
Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.
Applies skills to makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes.
Working knowledge of regulations including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS) and other agency regulations.
Bachelor's degree with Contract Experience
Required Soft Skills:
Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results
Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight.
Preferred Skills:
Program management Experience
Strong legal writing skills are helpful
Education / Experience:
Bachelors in Various disciplines as long as they have strong competency in Government Contracts
Pay Rate:$45 to $50 per Hour
