he Supply Chain Analytics & Process Insights team is accountable for end-to-end process efficiencies through process mining and reporting analytics to ensure supply chain business process and technology capabilities are effective and efficient.  The supply chain consultant role will focus on analytics strategy insights, design and development to drive successful transformational activities related to Supply chain processes.  The incumbent must possess a combination of strong business process acumen and advanced analytical thinking to work cross-functionally to facilitate and influence operational supply chain improvements.

In this role, you will:


  • Accountable to analyze and interpret customer supply chain processes to influence strategic and tactical efficiency recommendations.


  • Leverage advanced functional and technical expertise to identify insights and bring to life through design & development of data analyses/visualizations: Power BI/Query, Celonis metrics.


  • Leverage analytical insights and analysis to drive step-change operational improvements and transformations from self-service reporting of Excel-based tools / Tableau dashboards to efficient, standardized, and sustainable robust analyses.


  • Leverage strong business acumen to guide analytics strategy and optimize complex operational processes.



  • Assess supply chain process metrics to discover data-driven insights and opportunities to improve scorecard results.


  • Partner with key Supply Chain teams, DTS Analytics team and vendor to enable robust data analytics through platforms of Celonis, PBI, and Voltron VDMs.


  • Align, develop and mobilize implementation of supply chain best practices that deliver improved service, reduced distribution cost & complexity, and enable inventory reductions at K-C and the customer.


  • Facilitate process-mapping discussion to identify and action current to future state process improvements and automation capabilities.


  • Act as change agent and key liaison with operational teams relative to project execution plans to deliver YOY improvement in service, inventory and cost.


  • Strong project management knowledge to develop and lead projects including timeline management, risk assessment plans, and action item management to ensure delivered results.


  • Build strong sustainable business relationships at various levels throughout the organization and key customers.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelors or Advanced degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.


  • 5+ years of business experience with at least four years of cross-functional Supply Chain Customer Service, Distribution or Planning experience preferred.


  • 3+ years of working experience in data science, analytics and/or data modeling


  • Advanced analytics, data visualization, and reporting dashboard design and development experience


  • Knowledge of or willingness / ability to learn new analytical and automation tools


  • Demonstrated leadership in executing innovative solutions through process and technology


  • Strong technical/analytic skills and experience in multiple platforms (SAP R/3, S4 and Business Warehouse (BW) reporting, Power BI, Power Query, SAP Hana VDMs)


Preferred Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Kimberly-Clark’s supply chain interactions.

  • Experience with statistical modeling, advanced coding skills and Excel functionality

  • Experience with relational database structure and design, SQL, SAP HANA / VDMs


  • Demonstrated experience in strategic problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, analytical thinking and influence.


  • Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrated proficiency in: oral & written communication, interpersonal skills, adaptability, change management and project management.

Reports to Supply Chain Operating Office Sr Manager
 

KEY CUSTOMERS AND PROCESS PARTNERS:
Supply Chain cross-functional teams: SC BU Integration leads, Customer Service, Logistics Capabilities, Distribution, Supply Planning, Deployment, Transportation, Finance & Global Supply Chain
 

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Travel may include approximately 10% of work time. Travel may also include travel via aircrafts and motor vehicles to various locations, if applicable. Varying working conditions may include prolonged sitting, typing and viewing computer/laptop screens, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, climbing, twisting, stooping, walking and standing.
