LOCATION: Bldg. 955 Business Office, Eglin AFB, FL
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The function of this position is securing and analyzing quotations for a wide variety of parts, materials, and special services; analyzing price quotes to determine the best vendor selection, and coordinating with end users to ensure price, delivery, terms, and technical specifications are met. Responsible for awarding purchase orders and ensuring files are fully documented to withstand audit. Enters data into multiple computer applications. Coordinates with Accounts Payable to ensure purchase order pricing and terms are met. Organizes and implements strategies with Procurement Analysts to accomplish Small Business and Disadvantaged Plan goals.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a National Agency Check with Investigation (NACI). Supports E-OMS operational objectives. All selected candidates must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation and drug test as a condition of placement into this position. Observes company Quality, Safety, Environmental, Security, and administrative policies; supports Process Improvement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work activities are normally performed in an environmentally controlled area in an office setting on Eglin AFB, FL.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position will be subject to substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; and requires very little lifting or moving of heavy objects or materials and require very little lifting or moving of heavy objects or materials. May require sitting for long periods of time.
