Job Summary

We are looking for a hard-working, collaborative, innovative professional to join our Corporate Legal Data Strategy Team. This role will report to the Chief Privacy and Data Strategy Officer and will support the Companies' global programs by providing leadership and direction related to process and governance transformation, as well as program management, in the substantive areas of Privacy, Information and Cyber Security, Data Governance, and Artificial Intelligence (the Digital Ecosystem). You will be part of a cross-functional team and work across all business lines for the Company, collaborating with stakeholders from various operating entities to help us fulfill our goals of unlocking the value of data while adhering to our values of data protection and consumer trust.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


  • Define future-state processes and solutions that our operating entities can use to align programs within the Digital Ecosystem and ensure the successful deployment.

  • Reduce variation from existing processes to gain simplification and operational efficiencies.

  • Create clearly defined metrics between and among the operating entities to standardize compliance and risk measurements.

  • Assist in managing regulatory change management processes to monitor and address changes in applicable laws, rules, regulations and contracts.

  • Interpret company goals into functional goals and develop cross-functional plans, objectives and strategies to implement.

  • Assist in managing privacy-related inquiries and privacy rights requests.

  • Provide support for budgeting and budget tracking.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in program management, process improvement and/or governance functions, some of which needs to have been focused on legal, regulatory and technical issues related to the Digital Ecosystem.

  • Experience with risk assessments and Records of Processing Activities.

  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues across varying business lines, management, and operations personnel.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality results.

  • Self-motivated and independent, but able to discern when matters should be escalated and when further guidance is needed.

  • Ability to translate requirements into practical guidance and formulate creative solutions to accomplish Enterprise objectives.

  • Experience coordinating work for a team, providing support for projects, and with technology such as SharePoint.

  • Sound judgment, strong work ethic, excellent problem solving and organization skills, practicality, a focus on business outcomes and flexibility to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

  • Certifications (if applicable) - IAPP certifications preferred, but not required.

Salary:

Pay Range: This job can be performed in District of Columbia with a Pay Range of $146,396.69 - $229,576.63

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
