RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst in Tampa, FL.

Summary:
The QA tester performs multi-disciplinary functions relating to the quality assurance testing and support of websites, Configurator applications, customer catalogs, and special projects. This role is primarily responsible for quality assurance. Duties include, but are not limited to developing and executing functional and regression test cases for applications for defect identification, producing application test reports.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Software Development Lifecycle Testing of the company's residential customer catalogs frontend and backend, along with all website development testing in an acceptance test driven development and Agile environment


• Tasked with unit testing, functionality testing, regression testing, integration testing, black box, white box, and UAT (user acceptance testing)


• Writing and executing test cases for manual and ability to learn how to create automated test scripts with Testing required application


• Documentation of testing results in detail outlining defect and path to recreate defect; The feedback to be documented in ADO Test Plan


• Communicating status and testing results to management and business stakeholders via reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

• Five (3-5) years of experience with software and quality assurance testing experience


• Experience with software testing techniques and QA methodologies


• Maintains a solid understanding of application defect and enhancement backlog


• Ability to create thorough and detailed test plans, test cases and results documentation


• Possesses a basic understanding of the software development lifecycle


• Communicates effectively and professionally with reporting managers, users, customers, and other IT personnel


• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Azure DevOps - Test Plan other Test management tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
