RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking Support Engineer in Round Rock, TX.

Overview:
The consultant will help assist the company with Lab Support Engineering Services for the company's Shared Services Lab ("Lab as a Service" or -LaaS-) and will lead efforts to automate tasks related to implementation, testing, reporting, monitoring and operation of LaaS.

Day to Day Duties:

• Support Engineer will use the ticket tracking tools to work client requests and incident support tickets pertaining to LaaS access, services, software and hardware infrastructure


• Answer tickets in a timely manner with a focus on providing excellent customer service


• Perform installation, configuration, deployment and monitoring of LaaS software, servers, storage, and networking


• Perform LaaS server hardware assembly, disassembly, and part replacements quickly and accurately while adhering strictly to process


• Maintain accurate LaaS hardware inventory records


• Maintain knowledge of documented processes and apply those processes consistently


• As a Support Engineer, you will assist in monitoring LaaS environment for issues and report issues promptly


• Perform proactive and preventative LaaS system upgrades when directed


• Work collaboratively with other team members and partners to ensure consistent availability of LaaS services and customer needs are being met

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
