The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for overseeing maintenance planning and scheduling at the Midway, TN site. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of equipment and facilities, while also reducing downtime and optimizing maintenance operations. The Maintenance Planner will collaborate closely with on-site maintenance teams, engineers, and leadership to ensure that maintenance tasks are well-coordinated and executed efficiently.


Here’s What You’ll Get To Do




  • Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules, ensuring timely and efficient execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.


  • Work Order Management: Prioritize, plan, and organize work orders based on urgency, availability of resources, and equipment downtime.


  • Coordination: Work closely with supervisors, technicians, and the procurement team to ensure availability of parts, tools, and resources needed for scheduled maintenance.


  • Maintenance Optimization: Continuously improve maintenance planning processes by reviewing historical data, equipment performance, and failure trends to minimize downtime and extend asset life.


  • Compliance: Ensure that maintenance activities meet regulatory and safety requirements, as well as internal company standards.


  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the procurement and supply chain teams to manage parts inventory and ensure critical spares are always available.


  • Reporting & Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including equipment uptime, downtime, mean time between failures (MTBF), and mean time to repair (MTTR), and provide regular reports to leadership.


  • Collaboration: Facilitate communication between maintenance team, engineering, and site leadership to align maintenance efforts with operational goals.


  • Cost Control: Monitor and control maintenance expenses while ensuring maximum equipment reliability and availability.


  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and team efficiency across all assigned locations.
    Here’s What We’re Looking For



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    - Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) **Preferably eMaint**.

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, equipment, and processes

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards for maintenance

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling (CMRP, CMM, or similar).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in managing large-scale operations.
