Our Mortgage Banking Operations team is looking for an INTERN to join our Souderton, PA team.



Responsibilities

Review title documents when received and make sure loan structure is accurate based upon title report.

Work with title companies to resolve any title issues. Notify processor and MLO if any questions or discrepancies.

Contact title agents for any corrected or missing documents

Assist Processing Manager, Closing Manager, and Operations with loan task

Order verbal and written verification of employment

Obtain updated homeowners insurance

Run and monitor assigned pipeline reports

Send appraisal reports to customers

Keep Processing Manager and Closing Manager informed of incomplete files.

Notify closer on the file of items needed.

Perform any other related duties as assigned by Processing, Closing, and Operation Managers.

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct

Perform other duties as assigned



Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, currently pursing a college degree a plus

Knowledge of MS Office Suite

Possess strong attention to detail and be well organized

Must be able to multi task and prioritize work load while interacting with customers, sales staff, referral partners, real estate attorneys, processing staff and title providers

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills are imperative.

Must possess a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy
