Location: Chester, South Carolina
Manage and oversee the supply chain for timber and forestry residual products in a competitive market. Develop and implement strategies within a team setting for supplier management, product pricing and category management. Fabricate and implement production planning processes to ensure timely delivery of products and manage delivered volumes of timber products as needed. Manage contracts with suppliers and vendors. Populate settlement system with contract information and manage contracts through time.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in the supply chain. Oversee logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation of products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in forestry, resource allocation, supply chain management, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in forestry industry. Strong knowledge of timber harvesting and supply chain management principles and practices. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing relationships with suppliers and vendors. Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement in the supply chain. Experience with contract management timber harvesting/merchandising and logistics operations.
Schedule:
8-hour shift
Monday - Friday. Must have ability to commute/relocate. Chester, SC29706: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
