GPIis seeking an entry-level Landscape Architect for in our New England offices to assist with various land planning and engineering projects. We seek an ideal candidate with a high energy level, a great work ethic, and pride in providing solutions as part of a team. Responsibilities:



  • Working knowledge of the design process for private development site planning and municipal projects including zoning review and interpretation

  • Develop site development plans, including site grading, stormwater management systems, landscaping, hardscapes, and erosion control, etc.

  • Familiarity with regulatory approval processes, technical demands, and precedent studies


Qualifications:



  • BLA in Landscape Architecture

  • Minimum of 0-2 years of related experience

  • Competent use of basic software such as MS Office

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs is preferred

  • 3D visualization (i.e. SketchUp or other) is a plus




Requirements



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration

  • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language

  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members

  • Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working
