OUR Department:
Rochester Regional Health's AIR team approaches chronic allergy, asthma, immunology, and rheumatology challenges with thorough, individualized care plans. SUMMARY
As a Registered Nurse - IV, your nursing experience and leadership abilities allow you to develop and implement quality care plans for patients, while acting as a mentor to others on the unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assessment. Perform initial and ongoing assessment of the patient; demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment and advanced assessment skills; communicate and document assessment with interdisciplinary team; utilize all available resources in order to meet the needs of the patient and family
Planning & Implementation. Develop and document plan of care, treatment and services; collaborate interdisciplinary health team to deliver care; maintains an appropriate nurse-patient relationship and provides an exceptional experience for the patient and family
Evaluation & Education. Evaluate, communicate and document patient responses to care; revise plan of care based on ongoing evaluations; ensure the patient receives and understands education/training specific to their needs and abilities
Training. Provide training for new team members on the unit; assume role of teacher for nursing students and other students shadowing on the unit; act as a resource for other team members for both clinical and non-clinical matters
EDUCATION:
AS: Nursing (Required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
PAY RANGE: $33.00 - $44.00
