Location: Sunnyvale, California
Facilitate, manage and monitor application & process initiatives that span multiple business lines
Manage all aspects of related projects to ensure the overall program is coordinated and delivered according to roadmap, objectives and scope
Partner with key business and operation stakeholders to understand objectives, set priorities of projects and establish a delivery roadmap
Leverage experience and training to create project plans appropriate to the size, scope and resource needs of the requesting team
Coordinate and track project timelines, identify dependencies, and develop and deliver requirements, documentation, and progress reports
Delegate tasks to various team members and manage successful completion of tasks, guiding team on various technical and functional aspects and removing any roadblocks
Lead and be a hands-on manager of application and process related projects across multiple functional groups involving a variety of technologies and applications
Work creatively and analytically to problem-solve project roadblocks, identify and manage risks and manage team issues
Build effective project teams utilizing communication and team building skills
Keep stakeholders and project team members informed of status and issues utilizing clear, consistent and timely communications
Develop an understanding of the business processes and teams you are supporting and leverage your application knowledge and experience to collaborate as solutions are defined
Participate in establishing PMO practices, templates, policies, tools and in the development of business partnerships
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience in managing medium to large projects with 5+ years’ experience in large enterprise system implementations and major initiatives
Delivery of programs in the assigned vertical and related projects in a rapidly growing environment
Proven expertise in developing, implementing and maintaining business continuity, disaster recovery and resiliency plans. This includes identifying critical systems, potential risks and ensuring that contingency plans and strategies are developed, maintained and in place.
Deep understanding of digital systems, cloud infrastructure, and network operations. Familiarity with monitoring tools, automation, and other technologies used in tracking system health, identifying anomalies, and ensuring operational uptime.
Excellent understanding and experience in Project Methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
5+ years of experience facilitating the capture and documentation of business requirements leading the project stakeholders and team
Demonstrable experience with Organizational Change Management and Adoption
Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, hardworking team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including experience meeting with and presenting information to senior leadership
Ability to manage entropy
Passion for creating a frictionless and supportive project management experience
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario
Knowledge and experience using project management tools, ServiceNow PPM preferred
Ability to “see around the corner” and identify program/project risks
Desire to put a lasting mark in the design of a world class PMO
PMI or Agile Alliance (or equivalent) certification preferred
SaaS and Problem & Incident Management experience
ITIL / ITSM preferred
Change Management (Prosci, CCMP or equivalent) certification desired
Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite other large modern CRM system implementation experience
