Perform duties to lead warehouse team involved in receiving, storage, inventory, and movement of parts and material used in support of the production of air treatment equipment, working within the limits of standard methods and procedures.



Essential Duties:


  • Work from computerized Quality Management System (QMS) components including production schedules, inventory records, pull lists, bills of materials, Engineering Change Notifications (ECN), random cycle count lists, and work instructions.





  • Conduct start of shift team meetings to communicate schedules, priorities, safety and production issues, and other information necessary to ensure that all team members are aware of shift requirements and pending issues.





  • Conduct random cycle counts, assigning inventory items to team members. Count specified items and note physical inventory. Provide direction to team members regarding cycle count and resolution of discrepancies between inventory records and physical inventory counts, and personally resolve more complex or time consuming discrepancies.





  • Consult production schedule, pull lists and bills of materials, and manually modify records in MRP system to move materials committed to future builds to orders currently in production, as required, to maintain work flow.





  • Ensure that the locations of all physical inventory items are accurately recorded in computerized inventory system, including materials moved to production lines, small parts shipping area, or Material Review Board (MRB) inventory awaiting disposition. Monitor and clear Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) to ensure the accuracy of pull lists and kitting operations.





  • Assign inventory pulls and kitting to Material Handlers in accordance with production schedules, related material requirement, and standard procedures. Ensure the removal and disposal of trash and recycle material and proper operation of trash compactors. Assist to resolve problems related to material handling, kitting, and schedule adjustments.





  • Report on material shortages and ensure that purchasing is made aware of immediate materials requirements that may impact the status of work in process and production schedules.





  • Ensure that team members are trained in the operation of required equipment and in the performance of job duties.

  • Report to Supervisor on safety concerns, work infractions, training requirements, and performance issues and recommend action to be taken in keeping with standard procedures.





  • Perform any departmental work assignments to maintain work flow in warehouse, shipping and receiving functions.




Other Duties
:



  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.





  • Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.





  • Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.





  • Perform other related duties as assigned.




Tools and Equipment:



Use computer and related systems software and peripherals, fork truck, pallet jacks, crane, kitting racks, and trash compactor.



Minimum Personal Protection Equipment (PPE):



  • Safety Glasses - ANSI Z87.1

  • Gloves - ANSI Cut 3 4544

  • Foot Protection, Steel Toe - ASTM F2413-11




Physical Demand:



  • Frequently push and pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequently lift and carry up to 55 lbs.

  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach.
