Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality DualBeam product demonstrations, develop new techniques, and applications for Thermo Fisher Scientific partners and customers in the Materials Science marketplace.
Conduct customer training and translate customer needs into workable solutions.
Assist with all phases of the sales cycle as a technical product expert.
Cultivate positive customer relationships, act as a high-level customer interface for specific instrument/applications issues, and provide in-depth technical presentations.
Provide customer support and applications training post-sales cycle and after the instrument has been installed.
Collaborate with marketing/development groups on future product developments by providing continuous feedback on system performance, features, and potential problems.
Requirements:
University degree in Materials Science, Physics, or Chemistry (advanced degree preferred).
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant position within the research environment, including recent exposure to DualBeam technology.
Strong interest in electron microscopy and correlative workflows.
Knowledge of advanced technology diagnostics, troubleshooting techniques, operational optimization, and experience with analytical equipment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills tailored for a diverse audience.
Proven track record of working well with cross-functional and cross-cultural diverse teams.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (up to 50%) and possess a valid passport.
