Senior Advanced FPGA Firmware Developer job in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania is available with Moseley Technical Services top Defense, Maritime & Strategic Systems company. In this job you will contribute to state-of-the-art technologies supporting torpedo SONAR arrays and electronic assemblies.
Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and document FPGA firmware components, interfaces, and data flows.
Develop and test firmware in line with detailed design specifications.
Simulate and integrate firmware components, ensuring functionality on target hardware.
Define FPGA timing, pinout, and placement constraints, and review synthesis and timing reports to address issues.
Collaborate with teams to identify schematic updates and hardware reworks to support design integrity.
Utilize FPGA tools and lab equipment for integration, debugging, and testing.
Document failures, perform root cause analysis, and verify fixes.
Manage configuration documentation for FPGA designs.
Implement custom digital signal processing filters and support the development of torpedo SONAR arrays and electronic assemblies.
