Job Overview:
Looking for an experienced Senior Vendor Financial Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on managing vendor performance by conducting in-depth financial analysis, consolidating data, and aligning contracts, invoices, and asset registers to assess unit costs. The ideal candidate will be able to compare these costs against industry benchmarks to evaluate vendor performance and assist in overall vendor management. This position also involves ensuring vendor compliance with IT governance policies and collaborating across departments to achieve business objectives.
Must-Have Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in vendor management, financial analysis, or a similar role, preferably in a large corporate environment.
Proven experience with invoice reconciliation, contract management, and asset register alignment to assess unit costs.
Strong skills in data analysis, data consolidation, and reporting, with a focus on providing actionable insights.
Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms) for generating metrics and trend analysis.
In-depth understanding of vendor compliance and IT governance policies, ensuring adherence to internal processes.
Strong collaborative skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, procurement, operations).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data and reports clearly to stakeholders at various levels.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related
field is required.
