Performs duties to maintain building and grounds; perform general housekeeping repairs and installations; and conduct scheduled safety audits of safety related equipment through the entire facility. This is a 2nd Shift (evening) position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure the building facilities are in good working order and meet expectations
Perform general installations or repairs including but not limited to plumbing, lighting - inside and out, painting, and general carpentry
Repair cook racks and dollies daily to ensure availability for production
Perform and document weekly inspections of eye wash stations and makes needed repairs
Perform and document monthly fire extinguisher and emergency lighting inspections making any needed repairs
Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Keep walkways clear of snow and ice, maintain emergency exits making sure they are accessible
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
Able to speak, read, and write English, bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Proficient in plumbing, electrical, painting, assembly and repairs
Valid state driver's license
Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
3 - 5 years related building maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred
Physical Requirements
Able to lift in excess of 40 pounds on a regular basis
Able to tolerate extreme temperatures
Able to operate variety of hand and power tools on a frequent, daily basis
Able to climb, crouch, kneel and crawl on an occasional basis to service variety of equipment
