JOB SUMMARY:
Performs electrical engineering functions in the execution of assigned projects as part of a cross functional team. Duties include project planning, development of products and solutions to technical problems, coordination of activities with design and lab personnel, interfacing as needed with marketing and operations to support the achievement of overall project goals.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in product definition and design specification processes.
Designs and implements, either working alone or as part of a development team, high quality solutions to meet or exceed product requirements.
Experience in PCA design to include digital, microcontroller, or analog circuits.
Works with software and test engineers in defining interfaces and making hardware/software trade-offs.
Performs thorough testing and evaluation of solutions to ensure maximum quality levels and complete functionality.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
0 to 2+ years of experience in an electrical engineering role
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Solid understanding of electrical and embedded system design principles.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
