The Security Intelligence Analyst II leads the development of an intelligence program to support CEVA North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico). The SIA II is responsible for the active monitoring, identification, evaluation, and accurate reporting of risks that could impact business activities and supports critical decision-making.


In this role, the Security Intelligence Analyst II will assess and analyze information obtained to identify, respond to, mitigate threats, and manage crises to CEVA. Working within the CEVA Security Intelligence Operations Center (SIOC), the SIA II will lead and coordinate intelligence operations, projects, collections, and disseminations to CEVA and CMA CGM stakeholders.


The SIA II is responsible for developing policies and procedures to support active collaboration across business functions within CEVA and providing direct support to the SIOC's multi-year business strategy. This role is instrumental in driving intelligence-based solutions for the CEVA SIOC that are thoughtful, innovative, and contribute to the safety and security of CEVA associates, locations, and reputation throughout the world. This position will collaborate extensively with partners at CMA CGM and the CEVA Global Head Office (GHO).


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Identify emerging trends and patterns to conduct comprehensive threat analysis and reporting.
  • Develop internal intelligence processes and procedures for the SIOC.
  • Stay apprised of industry standards and threats to the supply chain industry through relevant publications, working groups, and task forces.
  • Systemically monitor OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) potential and known threats and risks
  • Strategically analyze and support intelligence through OSINT and other methods efforts during special events, security incidents, disasters and other crises that could cause a disruption to business for CEVA.
  • Review, analyze and escalate OSINT to help mitigate and report global threats to company property, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Display original thinking and creativity, meet challenges with resourcefulness, generate suggestions for improving work, and develop innovative approaches to complex problems.
  • Utilize and display above average critical thinking skills, in times of high stress with sometimes undefined processes and procedures.
  • Generate easy-to-interpret reports based on collected and analyzed data.
  • Collaborate with other SIOC personnel to integrate intelligence and operations.
  • Develop internal intelligence focused training plan to support cross function understanding of the intelligence cycle.
  • Assist investigations with detailed intelligence collection regarding persons of interest.
  • Perform event vulnerability assessments to reduce risk.
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Maintain and utilize mass notification system for communicating security-related matters.
  • Operate and monitor computer workstations and emergency systems; administering and maintaining process control systems and databases used within the Intelligence Center
  • Monitor CEVA employees abroad, sending travel advisories and incident notifications during security incidents and crisis events.
  • Understanding of data analysis as it applies to security and other business needs.
  • Technical understanding of data models, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office products and other computer data collect software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of Open-Source intelligence (OSINT) gathering
  • Maintain high organizational oversight to ensure task completion.
  • Maintain compliance standards per policy.
  • Perform in a high-paced environment with little supervision.
  • Professional, friendly, and positive communication style


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in a related field (e.g., Intelligence Analysis, Information Technology, Political Sciences)
  • 5+ years of operational experience with intelligence analysis, US government all-source analytic production, or specialized intelligence analysis training focused on mobility or sustainment.
  • Prior military, law enforcement.
  • Experience with coordinating analytic support to produce Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment products
  • Must possess experience in decision-making, multi-tasking, and leadership during high stress situations, often under time constraints.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills in previous billets.
  • Must be well-versed in current security technologies and open-source search methodologies.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations.
  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks.
  • Ability to maintain composure when dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Ability to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.
  • Ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts both days and nights.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to communicate at an executive level, both written and orally, through superior communication skills.
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
