Summary:


Our Maintenance Manager II is responsible for supervising and planning the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment processes required by the Processing Maintenance and Refrigeration departments. This includes directing coordinating and supporting maintenance supervisors and personnel, working with contractor's vendors or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment troubleshooting and resolving new and or different technical problems regarding equipment processes. Our Maintenance Manager II is also responsible for efficiently managing maintaining highly automated systems including PLCs HMIs and Robotics. Other responsibilities include: coordinating maintaining the maintenance training program for maintenance Team Members; assisting in preparing and overseeing budgets; coordinating Team Member work schedules and ensuring all parts and assets necessary to perform maintenance are available and maintained; providing information for managerial decision making; and perform other responsibilities as the need arises.

would be working 1st Shift (hours can vary, as needs require), onsite at our New London Plant in New London, WI.


Although the Salary Rate for this role is based on experience, this role is eligible for 4 weeks of Vacation, Benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental), 15% Annual Incentive Plan & 3.50% Annual Salary Review with an overall opportunity to start or continue your growth with Tyson!




Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred


  • Experience: 5 + years of maintenance supervisor experience.


  • Computer Skills: Standard computer skills.


  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills; ability to direct the workforce with clear and precise directions.


  • Special Skills: Considerable knowledge in mechanical electrical hydraulics refrigeration automation and maintenance training skills. Display sound judgment; make sound decisions; organizational skills; ability to accept and delegate responsibility.


  • Supervisory: Responsible for supervising a group of maintenance supervisors and or personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.


  • Travel: 1 - 5 trips per year.


  • Must reside in the US to be considered, this role does not offer Sponsorship
