Overview
Are you a highly motivated and experienced finance professional looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the hospitality industry? If so, then our Assistant Director of Finance position may be the perfect opportunity for you!
As an Assistant Director of Finance, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyze data for trends and variances.
Assist in the annual budgeting process and monitor budget adherence.
Ensure accuracy of accounting records and manage accounts payable/receivable.
Implement and monitor controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with audit requirements.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting a collaborative environment.
Oversee payroll for accounting team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Conduct variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Work with other departments to support financial goals.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in an accounting role; prior experience in a hotel environment preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software (ProfitSword, M3, etc.)
Knowledge of Hilton OnQ system preferred
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
