Drives Gulf Coast Village Transportation Fleet to transport residents by performing the following duties.
Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Educational Requirements and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsements is required.
Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
Current First-Aid and CPR certification required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Drives vehicle from community area to destination according to assigned schedule.
Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
Operates cell phone to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
Meets all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including passenger's endorsements.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
