About the Role
The Allocation Analyst, CPG is responsible for managing the timely delivery and allocation of new and repeat stock as well as allocation adjustments to Concessions partners, ensuring that sales plans are achieved and stock utilization is maximized, for current and new stores. They must ensure that they deliver on their projects in a timely manner, working with tight deadlines and delivering outstanding service by communicating and working with key areas of the business, with a high focus on store operations and field team while analyzing information and challenging decisions when necessary.
Delivery and Allocation
Process allocations of stock from the Distribution Center through detailed analysis of stock and sales data, escalating any concerns to the Merchandiser
Accurately allocate products to Stores, using the AS400 and PCG, the CIMS Allocation system, this will include priority lines to be picked and distributed from the Distribution Center (DC) for the week
Check upcoming deliveries to ensure the profiles, fixture types, and allocations are set correctly within the Third Party Replenishment Platform (Park City Group)
Weekly Trading
Attend and actively participate in weekly departmental team meetings, where Buying and Merchandising review sales and stocks from the previous week and relate performance to the original departmental strategy, resulting in suggested future product development, repeats, cancellations, and rephrasing of stocks.
Take ownership and proactively manage stocks based on sales performance focusing on cover and sell-thru as parameters to aid drive concessions sales more efficiently, highlighting findings to the rest of the Buying and Merchandise team
Prepare, update, and distribute key daily/weekly reports
Prioritize focus on the top 100 lines to ensure sales are maximized through detailed store-level allocations, highlighting any trends to the Merchandiser
Manage the Allocation Feedback intake and track; effectively action and communicate with field teams
Monthly/Seasonal Trading
Produce and analyze ad hoc reports as and when required by the Merchandiser, providing recommendations as appropriate
Conduct Store visits to better understand customer experience and in-store merchandise presentations
Review curated assortment by concession partner to manage stocks and sales proactively with a focus on top/bottom store performers (Understand Planogram by Concession Partner)
Systems and Process Improvement
Learn and develop a comfort level with the Park City Group Allocation and Replenishment System
Aid in troubleshooting system glitches
Provide recommendations on how to optimize allocation strategies based on location-level analysis
Develop ways to continually improve existing processes as well as create new ones that generate business value
Planning and Analysis
Identify opportunities to maximize sales and margin
Utilize exception management to prioritize focus on top SKUs and top Stores as well as course-correct underperforming SKUs and Stores
Partner with the Loss Prevention team on ways to reduce inventory shrink
Compensation Range: $52,000.00 - $71,760.00
Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
