We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in supporting the Modern Delivery - RPA.

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Completing requested pre-development documents in the prescribed layout (eg. Process Definition Document-PDD) and post-development (eg. Service Level Agreement-SLA).
  • Monitoring automated processes to ensure they continue to perform in the manner defined as it pertains to Army Accounting processes and principals.
  • Supporting the developer in the Design and Development of RPA solutions that enable ASA(FM&C) to successfully achieve its Campaign Plan objectives with an emphasis on Audit Readiness, UMT, Enterprise Business Systems Convergence, and modernization of Resource Management business processes.
  • Analyzing production automation processes to assist in determining failure or reduction in expected success rate which may be caused by system changes or data changes that may require modifications to existing logic and business rules to improve success rate.
  • Leading the eUMT tiger team (group of Army Accountants specializing in UMTs) meetings and efforts in ongoing efforts to resolve UMTs using automation.
  • Researching Unmatched Transactions (UMTs) to include Unmatched Disbursements (UMDs) and Unmatched Collections (UMCs), reimbursable funds, expired reimbursable sales orders, open commitments, and open travel vouchers and work with analysts and/or DFAS to remediate.
  • Tracking and resolving Intermediate Document (IDOC) Interface Error Reports for systems to include: DTS; SPS; LMP; FCM; AXOL; ATAAPS; and DCPS and coordinate resolution efforts. • Track and assist in resolving all Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs), in coordination with Acquisition Analyst(s), with emphasis on canceling year funds; Return excess customer funding and resolve Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULOs).
  • Providing professional support and technical assistance to Government customers for daily business operations in support of the Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
  • Providing audit readiness support to assist in the compilation of Financial Audit Packages and remediation of weaknesses within business processes and internal control. Support external audit requests to include facilitating process walk-throughs and identifying evidentiary documentation.
  • Tracking and resolving Intermediate Document (IDOC) Interface Error Reports for systems to include: DTS; SPS; LMP; FCM; AXOL; ATAAPS; and DCPS and coordinate resolution efforts. • Maintain financial error trackers, provide weekly status matrixes to Government customers, and ensure processes are auditable.
  • Supporting the governance of the RPA process regarding Army Accounting logic and principles.
  • Providing track metrics and financial projections on time saved for assigned projects.
  • Facilitating email communications and MS TEAMS meetings between clients, developers, and stakeholders.

At a minimum you should have the following:

  • An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
  • A bachelor's degree in a non-STEM field.
  • 5-10 years of financial management execution experience.
  • Knowledge of GFEBS, DTS; SPS; LMP; FCM; AXOL; ATAAPS; and DCPS.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Army accounting processes and legacy accounting systems.
  • Ability to format reports and analyze BI/ECC data into useful information.
  • Ability to format reports and analyze BI/ECC data into useful information.
  • Demonstrated abilities along with Coursework or work experience may be substituted instead of certifications.
  • Ability to format reports and analyze BI/ECC data into useful information.
  • Ability to collaborate with Army Accountants and organize Tiger Teams to plan and implement methods to automate the resolution of groups of UMTs sharing the same problem/solution.
  • Ability to create, troubleshoot, and manipulate documents using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in support of assigned projects
  • Ability to pull, format, and analyze Business Intelligence (BI)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) reports for tracking against established financial metrics.
  • Experience working in fully remote work settings, including excellent communication skills, the use of virtual project management tools, leading virtual meetings/workshops, and other work exercises.
  • Experience with Reimbursable Support Agreements and Forms 7600 A/B-General Terms and Conditions (GT&C) to include working knowledge of G-Invoicing requirements and processes.
  • Sufficient experience and understanding of the Army's Accounting processes and systems to support the role's primary assignment of researching UMTs to determine their cause and the ability to research and formulate the specific solution steps that are required to resolve the UMT.
  • Experience utilizing various Army financial systems including General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), GCSS GARMY, CEDMS, DCBS, and IPAC with a working knowledge of Army business processes.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
