Our client is one of Houston's leading heavy civil contractors who operate in a variety of construction markets within the civil sector, including highways, bridges, utilities and concrete. They also have a very large maintenance division where they work on new contracts as well as emergency projects. With an exceptional reputation within the industry, this company has continued to grow and is looking for an experienced project manager to join the team.


Your new role
As a project manager, you will not only be responsible for the successful completion of your own projects but managing the project management team as a whole. Project costing, safety, scheduling, budget and overall management of the day-to-day operations of the site will fall under you. You will manage all client interactions and maintain strong relationships. You will also work closely with the area VP to ensure the smooth management of the project team.


What you'll need to succeed
You will come from a background in civil construction, ideally with experience working on highway, road and bridge projects in the state of Texas. To be successful in this role, you will have at least 10 years' experience as a project manager and be looking to take the next step. You will also ideally hold either a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree.
