Job Description:

As the Digital Imaging Workflow Assistant, you will act as an administrator for the Commander Photo Management System: performing user setup, regulation and preparing for future business needs. You will enter the product page photo plans (shot notes) into the Commander System from the Filemaker Pro database, and will assign attributes to shot notes, create tracking and reporting documents to aid in credible and timely photo shot lists. In addition, you will maintain the photo shot list as business needs evolve and notify respective parties of changes. You will partner with our studio, sample room, creative and styling teams for system accountability and task tracking.  Activities may include but are not limited to: data importing, entry and updating, intermediate excel spreadsheet interaction, proofreading, enforcing optimal standardization techniques, vendor post-production work requests, user support and training, and cross departmental communication.   


Successful candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:



  • Act as the administrator for the Commander Photo Management System; including the organization of projects, tasks, data, users, and reporting.  

  • Enter the photo planning needs from the Filemaker Pro database into Commander Photo Management System.

  • Obtain missing information from the various business groups to complete a credible/timely shot list.

  • Maintain the photography shot list as business needs evolve with approval from appropriate creative partners and notify respective parties of changes.

  • Create detailed post-production color and retouching requests using excel and the Digital Asset Management tool. Communication with vendor. 

  • Ability to learn and use technical systems, such as databases and planning systems. Commander Photo Management System (Workhorse/Drafthorse) is a plus.

  • Data entry and database experience. Filemaker Pro experience is a plus.

  • High level of organization and attention to detail.

  • Ability to react to changing priorities, creative direction, and fluctuating workload.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills required. Good customer service skills.

  • Ability to stay motivated during repetitive tasks.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet scheduled workload deadlines.
