Global Technology Services (GTS) owns the management of a large and complex set of arrangements with 3rd party suppliers of contractor services. These arrangements include relationships with third parties as well as internal agreements within and between legal entities and business lines. The IT Vendor Performance and Outsourcing Management team is established within GTS to achieve two objectives:
To provide central oversight and administration of contractor supplier activities
To facilitate effective strategic management across IT of contractor activities including T&M, Fixed Price and Managed Services (outsourcing)
To these ends, the team works closely with relationship leads within the IT delivery and relationship management functions as well as with partners in Global Procurement Services, Third Party Risk Management, Legal and Finance.
IT Vendor Performance and Outsourcing Management team are responsible for leading IT teams in the effective and efficient execution of their objectives. These responsibilities include establishing a long term vision and roadmap to achieve it; driving consistent, repeatable and well-controlled oversight processes; effectively deploying human capital through both development and acquisition; identifying best practices and tools to drive continuous improvement; and maintaining a relentless focus on improving the customer experience as a key outcome. It is also expected that continuous productivity improvement will be a goal, achieved through a combination of efforts including, but not limited to: low cost locations, process simplification, automation, and strong people management.
The scope of responsibility for this role is global. Within this scope is responsibility for meeting regulatory, jurisdictional, entity and branch requirements in the various locations in which GTS operates.

As Vendor Relationship Manager, Vice President you will- be responsible for
Managed Service Contract Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Accountable for the Governance and management of Global Infratructure and Application Outsourced Contracts
Key point of contact for all aspects of contract management, contract exhibits and specifics
Lead Governance and Business performance meetings driving performance through assertive contract management
Ensuring all Programme Risks and Issues are managed through closure
Relationship Management
Support delivery leads and executive management in GTS in their management of vendors at a strategic and tactical level
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders globally
Work with Enterprise Technology Risk, Compliance, Audit and Third Party Risk Management to ensure controls are designed and operating effectively and all requirements are met
Provide support to GTS and vendors for day-to-day operational issues such as contractor performance escalations, compliance failures or conduct infractions
Performance Management
Ensure SLA metrics are reported according to the contractual commitments and related service improvement plans are being tracked
Ensure appropriate governance meetings are in place and proactively managed to drive vendor performance
Deploy effective oversight and monitoring of IT Vendor Performance regionally where required
Financial Management
Where feasible, ensure accurate financial management practices-including reporting, invoicing and oversight-are in place and are being adhered to
Facilitate coordinated efforts to manage overall spend with vendors in concert with all relevant stakeholder

Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Technology/Business or other relevant subjects
10 + years' experience with account or contractor management
Minimum of 3-5 years IT Vendor Management / Performance - Service Management
Experience managing large scale vendor transitions for technology teams
Developing, implement and execute multi-Vendor improvement programs
Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience
Work experience in multiple geographies is an added advantage
Technology Vendor Management experience within global Financial Services
Experience in the management of Outsourced Contracts frameworks and SLA Management including developing and negotiating SLAs
Salary Range: $110,000 - $185,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
