The Maintenance Trainee position will develop their skills to become a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician. The trainee will provide maintenance support to the operations support department while learning the required skills of a Maintenance Technician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform minor equipment modifications and improvements from work orders and TPM activity.
Complete maintenance work orders on process and facility equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and perform adjustments as necessary.
Moving and organizing equipment, scrap steel or any other items as needed with tow motor/overhead crane.
Required to drive tow motor, floor scrubber, Genie lift, etc.
Excellent attendance record.
Maintain clean, organized, safe working environment with equipment and materials located in proper locations in accordance with 5S standards inside and outside of facility.
Ability to work all designated shifts.
Excellent attendance record.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
Completion of electrical training from a credited institute is required
Completed hydraulic and pneumatic training from a credited institute is preferred
Must complete Industrial Maintenance or College program within 2 years
