Summary of Role:



GlobalFoundries is seeking a Circuit Design Engineer to join the team and work cross functionally to verify, design and automate verification work using Python scripts. This individual will work closely with seasoned circuit designers and be trained in understanding CMOS logic and designs.



Essential Responsibilities include:



  • CMOS Logic understanding and design, schematic capture in Virtuoso, verify and simulate

  • Understanding SRAM, schematic capture and simulation

  • Verify and design and automate verification work with Python scripts

  • Run Statistical Analysis

  • Document design and simulation work




Other Responsibilities:



  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.




Required Qualifications:



  • Education - Graduating with Bachelor's in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.

  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.

  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)

  • CMOS logic and circuit design knowledge

  • SRAM design knowledge

  • Experience with Python and coding

  • Travel - Up to 10%




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.

  • Experience in coding.

  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.

  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong planning & organizational skills

Expected Salary Range

$52,500.00 - $107,000.00


The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
