Full Time Certified Occupational Therapist  

The Certified Occupational Therapist will assist in providing quality Occupational Therapy patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients, under the direction of licensed OT personnel.

Responsibilities of a Certified Occupational Therapy

• Assists in screenings and initial evaluations of all residents.


• Implements and executes treatment of all residents who could benefit from intervention as prescribed by a state approved referral source.


• Appropriately delivers treatment to achieve identified objectives.


• Appropriately documents progress against identified objectives using SOAP format.


• Communicates patient's status and needs to the licensed Occupational Therapist, and as appropriate, to the patient, the patient's family the staff and other professionals.


• Attends facility patient care plan, administrative staff and family conference meetings as directed by the Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• Valid COTA License in the State of Ohio
