About the Role:

As a Lead Product Development Engineer, you will be at the helm of researching, designing, planning, developing, testing, and evaluating new and advanced technologies, networks, and platforms. Your role will involve translating strategic business objectives into final product designs and providing technical oversight for comprehensive IoT solutions that span system/software, hardware, and network development, migrations, and deployments across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Solution Assessment:
    • Conduct in-depth assessments of solution needs.
    • Provide modeling, prototyping, system/product lifecycle flows.
    • Evaluate all deliverables, integration points, and dependencies.
    • Plan, strategize, and execute tests.
    • Consult to clarify needs for delivering application functionality.
  • Product Engineering:
    • Perform design, development, documentation, and testing of network and end-to-end product & system integration.
    • Handle hardware, firmware, or software deployments for new or enhanced products.
  • Client Liaison:
    • Act as a key consultant with clients/customers to understand their requirements.
    • Provide technical oversight to ensure comprehensive solution definition.
    • Gather and translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements and use cases.
  • Test Strategy Development:
    • Define end-to-end test strategies across multiple testing phases.
    • Collaborate with customers and impacted systems/vendors.
    • Provide oversight, leadership, and assistance in executing deliverables throughout the testing phase.


Expertise and Skills:
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Deep technical knowledge in your specialty area and basic knowledge of other disciplines.
    • Apply in-depth knowledge of standards/processes and integrate industry experience with professional/technical knowledge.
  • Problem Solving:
    • Solve unique problems through evaluative judgment and precedent.
    • Apply sophisticated analysis in evaluating issues, develop new concepts/methods/techniques for cross-functional initiatives, and pursue alternative methods.
  • Independence:
    • Operate with significant independence, guided by department goals/objectives.
    • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, varying in size and technical breadth.
  • Communication:
    • Mentor and provide technical guidance.
    • Explain advanced concepts to others.
    • Coordinate across multiple departments.
    • Handle critical communication across various levels of leadership, organizations, and directly with external customers/partners.


Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Math.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in technology development and delivery.
  • Required Skills:
    • Leadership in multiple projects.
    • Knowledge of IT architecture and mobility networks.
    • Experience in software design and development concepts.
    • Knowledge in transport network technology (protocols, equipment, services).
    • Product development & testing, project/program management, quality assurance and testing, quality management, technical acumen, business orientation, and customer focus.
