This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Operations Division, Office of Human Capital. As the Executive Services Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic advisor and interface for executives, charged with orchestrating the alignment of human capital efforts with business objectives in aims to maximize operational efficiency, drive transformative human capital outcomes, and promote organizational excellence.

Responsibilities

As the Executive Services Business Partner, you will:


  • Advise and consult with Bureau executives on a wide array of operational and strategic human resource management areas.

  • Analyze issues, inconsistencies, or problems in achieving organizational goals that may be attributable to human capital or cultural issues and guides thinking and innovation to develop non-traditional approaches and options for executive and management consideration.

  • Foster robust alliances and consensus-building with Bureau executives and other human capital professionals, to share ideas and information, promote cohesion, and enable success on human capital initiatives. Serves as a strategic problem solver to develop options and creative solutions to complex human capital issues.

  • Participate in analysis of and provides consultation on human capital policies and procedural issues and advocates to ensure that human capital programs have maximum effectiveness and flexibility to provide executives with a streamlined, seamless approach to recruiting, developing, and retaining a highly skilled workforce.

  • With other key human capital representatives of workforce planning and/or staffing and classification, advises, supports and implements proposed organizational design, reorganization, restructuring, realignments of function and change management. Encourage innovative approaches and options that may include consideration of matrix, business unit, functional, product focus, and/or virtual structures.
