What You Will Do
The Global Fragrance Leader is responsible for working in partnership with our Brand Development Teams and interfacing with our Fragrance & Flavor House suppliers to lead the development and coordination of our global portfolio. This role will be pivotal in bridging innovation and ensuring that our products delivery excellence in all aspects of perfumery.
Key Responsibilities
Fragrance Development: Translate trends, consumer insights, category strategy and an in-depth understanding of our Brands into fragrance/flavor briefs to inspire the best from our partners. Oversee the creation and refinement of fragrance profiles for our entire product portfolio.
Fragrance Innovation: Lead fragrance/flavor development project briefs from conception through to launch, ensuring timelines and budgets are met acting as the primary liaison between Kenvue and Houses. Facilitate clear communication and drive collaboration by identifying new fragrance opportunities, translating them into actions that integrate seamlessly into our product development processes.
Portfolio: Manage and optimize our fragrance & flavor portfolio, including evaluating stability, performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and making strategic recommendations.
Trends: Partner with consumer research teams to shape market research and trend analysis to stay informed about emerging fragrance trends and consumer preferences. Apply this knowledge to guide the development of new and existing fragrances & flavors.
Resiliency: Proactively prepare fragrance & flavor portfolio to meet future regulatory requirements, partnering closely across internal teams and Houses to implement necessary changes. Work in close collaboration with all key interfaces (formulation, brand, procurement) to optimize fragrance delivery and improve value.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
The job requires a high level of olfactive ability coupled with an inquisitive passion to understand consumer preference in fragrance, being their voice in the creation of new fragrances, alongside a strong understanding of olfactive profiles, trends, and market dynamics. The candidate should be able to prioritize complex workloads, ability to work across multiple time zones and self-motivate. Leadership and good communication are critical to be able to deliver on this role considering the nature of the work and interfaces with stakeholders. Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with fragrance houses as well as key internal partners. A team player who can inspire others to go the extra mile when things get challenging.
10 years of industry experience in fragrance, preferred experience in personal care and/or beauty products, is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Fragrance, or a related technical field

What's In It For You
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $166,000 - $225,000 . This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
