RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is looking for an Entry-Level Cyber Security CIAM Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a large organization in the Kansas City, MO area.

Summary:
The Cyber Security CIAM Analyst will support the implementation and management of the client's Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) systems. They will help ensure secure, seamless, and user-friendly access for our customers while protecting sensitive data from unauthorized access.

As part of the IAM team, the Analyst will collaborate with security professionals, software developers, and customer support teams to enhance the security and efficiency of customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the administration and maintenance of CIAM systems, ensuring smooth operation of user authentication and authorization processes


• Monitor and troubleshoot CIAM-related issues to ensure secure access for users


• Perform routine audits and assessments of user access and security controls, identifying potential security risks


• Help implement and enforce CIAM policies and best practices, following company security standards and compliance requirements


• Support the integration of new applications into the CIAM platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure user onboarding


• Respond to security incidents and support investigations related to CIAM activities


• Assist with documenting CIAM processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps


• Stay updated on the latest CIAM trends, threats, and technologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's identity and access management capabilities


• Provide support for customer queries related to identity and access issues, ensuring a positive user experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, identity management, and access control concepts


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams


• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and security

Preferred:

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or similar credentials


• Familiarity with CIAM solutions such as Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity, or similar platforms


• Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and passwordless authentication


• Basic knowledge of identity protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
