Administrative Coordinator

In this role, you will primarily support Oncology Cell Therapy Clinical Development Leadership members based in Cambridge, UK and Gaithersburg, MD. Accountabilities:


As an Administrative Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:




  • Provide PA support to Oncology Cell Therapy Clinical Development Leadership. This includes calendar management to schedule both virtual and face-to-face meetings and prioritizing calendar conflicts across multiple international time zones. It also includes making multi-location, domestic and international travel arrangements as well as expense reporting.






  • Working flexibly with administrators in Oncology Cell Therapy Clinical Development to divide tasks amongst the team to ensure a balanced workload.






  • Establish and maintain a robust professional network across administrative teams within AstraZeneca on cross-functional and cross-organizational meetings, events, & processes.






  • Effectively lead special projects and other duties as assigned.






  • Manage SharePoint websites to update content on a regular basis.






  • Produce accurate and properly formatted documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)






  • Schedule candidate interviews, and handle onboarding procedures for new hires.





Essential Skills/Experience:




  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required with 3+ years of administrative support experience






  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint






  • Experience with effectively multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and discretion






  • Ability to prioritize time critical assignments






  • Excellent teamwork, networking and influencing skills






  • Prior experience supporting multiple functional leaders





Desired Skills/Experience:




  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred






  • Relevant training, multitasking, certifications in software, and/or time management






  • Strong written and verbal communication skills






  • Competency with meeting logistics andvirtual technologies such as MS Teams, Zoom, etc.






  • Ability to work autonomously






  • Efficient in supporting staff with software updates






  • Strong time-management skills

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $63,200 to $94,800. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).


Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
